What is motivation?  

Motivation is our general willingness to do something and the reasons why we want to do it.  Often, motivation comes from action, rather than being the cause of it. Making a start, however small, is a form of active inspiration that naturally generates momentum.  

Why is it important?  

Motivation is important in every aspect of  our livesIt’s what  drives us to  do the behaviours we need to  do to  accomplish our goals  in life , whether that be to move more, finish a task or  reduce sugary drinks  etc
