Healthy Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 3/4 long cabbage
- 3 tbs reduced-fat milk
- 3 medium carrots
- 3 tbs low-fat mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sugar
Method
- Chop apples, grate carrots and shred cabbage.
- Toss apples in lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Mix together mayonnaise, milk and sugar to form a dressing.
- Toss dressing through cabbage, carrots and apples.

Variation:
Spring onion, red or green capsicum or nuts may all be added to vary this basic salad.
