KEEN BEAN Campaign - Stakeholder toolkit
The second wave of the LiveLighter Start Small campaign launches in Western Australia on Sunday 10 August and will run until Sunday 28 September 2025.
About Start Small
Start Small aims to encourage and motivate WA adults to save money on living expenses whilst maintaining a healthy diet and keeping physically active.
The first wave of Start Small highlighted four food and movement behaviours that WA adults could adopt: ‘snack on seasonal’, ‘try jazzy water’, ‘try meat-free Monday’, and ‘catch up over a walk’.
The second wave of Start Small has a focus on increasing legume consumption among WA adults. This wave will run on BVOD, radio, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and online.
LiveLighter is funded by the WA Department of Health and run by Cancer Council WA.
Target audience
The primary audience for the Start Small campaign is WA adults aged 25-64, with secondary audiences including people living in regional/remote areas and disadvantaged or low-SES areas of WA, and people who are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
